Royal Silk Chrysanthemum

$20.00

In Chinese herbal traditions, chrysanthemum is considered sweet and slightly bitter, with a cooling nature, and is heavily associated with the Lung and Liver systems. It is used to help clear Wind-Heat and soothe the liver, and is often enjoyed as an infusion.

Our Royal Silk Chrysanthemums are selected for their full golden flowers and long, layered petals. We look for blossoms that retain their shape and vivid color after drying, so each one opens visibly in the cup. From the chrysanthemum-growing region of Xiushui, Jiangxi, not only do these flowers bring medicinal properties to your tea, they also bring a graceful and distinctiveness to your daily tea ritual.
